Everything now a days circulates around social media, we want to document everything just so we can post it on Instagram later, and I don’t think there is something wrong with that, I love sharing things, I even created a blog to do that, but sometimes we get so caught up in trying to get that video for SnapChat or taking the perfect picture for Instagram that we forget to savor the moment. Sure, it is great to register the good things that we experience in life and get to look at them later on, I myself love taking pictures and registering as much memories of something as I can, but we have to keep in mind that we first have to live and experience the things life gives us, then capture them. I believe that there is a fine line separating, the picture or video you take to make a memory, of taking a picture or making a video instead of savoring what you are living. We are hungry for all the likes, comments and shares and I mean, who doesn’t want to get a lot of likes in a picture or post? It is great to get recognition for something but we must remember that the likes are not everything. Let’s not let those things stop us from enjoying what we are living.

Have you ever found yourself in that position?
