As of yesterday I became an older women and turned nineteen! I had the best day, got to spend it with the people I love. Now it’s the morning after the Bday and I’m currently eating some left over brigadeiros (a very tradition and very delicious Brazilian dessert) and sipping on some tea (that later tonight might become wine).
People say that when you turn eighteen the years just start to fly by. Now I see how accurate that is because I didn’t feel like I had time to precess and absorb that I turned eighteen and now, I’m already nineteen!
My mother married when she was twenty three, and to think that I could be married within four years is crazy, I want to do so much and feel like four years just isn’t enough time to do it all before steeling down and building a home and a family.
The problem is that sometimes I forget to seize the day and end up thinking on the big things I want to achieve later on in life, wile life is actually passing me by and “later on” turns out to be just around the corner. I wish I’ve done so much more instead of just imagining that some day I might achieve those big things, I could be working on smaller things to gradually move closer toward those big goals.
Life is what you make of it, everything you do puts you onto a path, and where that path leads is what we got to keep in mind. I need to get myself going and walk that path already, enjoy every day that passes me by and create opportunities instead of waiting for them to appear. I wish to enjoy my nineteen to its fullest.
It was a very chilly and windy day in Curitiba, so Instead of the skirt and blouse combo I was planning to wear I had to change it all up. I live in black, it’s truly my happy color, so I opted for an all black outfit with accents of leather. The leather jacket complements the detail on the pants, and the choker, that I got as a gift, ads an extra element to the outfit.
Pants: Chantall // Top: Canal // Jacket: Armani Exchange // Boots: Santa Lolla
Have a good week!
